I don't think this game is fair to the players at all.
Firstly the casino collects 明水 when the players buys the jackpot bonus, then the casino collects 暗水 when the dealers got nothing but the players hit something (Full House, Straight, Flush, Flush Straight, Royal Straight). When the dealers didn't get Ace or King or above and fold his cards by the rules, and so the players didn't win as much as we should have. The players can hit straight flush but he can only win the jackpot under 2 more conditions: he has to buy the bonus in the beginning, and he hopes that the dealer's card hit something. This is the most vicious way to collect 暗水. Of course, the players can 偷雞 when he gets nothing (and hope the dealer's card had nothing too) and double up his bets. But all he got is to use more money to secure a double of his original investment, nothing more.
The third point is that the way the cards are dealed, 5 consecutive cards to each player...it's much harder to get a pair when 5 consecutive cards are dealed. This is a way of collecting 暗水 as well.
This whole system is so unfair to the players. I like poker but surely not the Carribean Poker played in Macau casinos.
About 5-6 months ago, I asked a dealer in Wynns casino, he said that there has been 13 players to win a straight flush in Carribean Poker since the casino has opened for 1 year. So, what's the odds?
