If you go to Bangkok again, try to go to the shops that have much Japanese customers.  There are many Japanese living and visiting Bangkok, their area has the best restaurants and spa.  The Koreans are slowly increasing their numbers in Bangkok also.

As I said before,  Pattaya is tourist trap.   I was in Chiangmai 2 months ago, a 90 minutes xxx full service shower massage at the Diamond River Hotel's spa  only cost 1400b or 1700b.  It is a legal spa where the girls receive regular medical checkups, 1700b is for the younger ones.
