The North American version is this game but just under the title Rogue Galaxy.
Since the Directors Cut is basically the North American version in Japanese only

Here is a complete list of all the changes from the JP version(日版) to the NA version(美版).

- New optional area Alistia, a water planet. Accessed after Ch. 8.

-Toady's Analysis ability is easier to use and more detailed info.

-2 new ranks of weapons for each character except Jaster, bringing the total amount of weapons to 140.

-Burning Strike system de-randomized.

-2 additional species for Insectors: Bomber Snail and Spidan.

-Insector opponents now have live chat. (random talking)

-Better Insector A.I.

-Password system allowing 2-player Insector.

-More scenery for Rosa's Desert Town

-Rosencaster Prison, Gladius Tower, and Daytron Factory have been redesigned.

-New costumes.

-Revelation Flow has been redesigned.

-Damage formula change. Easier to do damage in NA version and weapons have been rebalanced.

-Enemy spawn locations, shop placements, and treasure chests placement altered.

-Enemies are now not allowed to spawn within 32 meters of save points.

-In-battle sub menu added.

-Traveling between planets simplified.

-Cut-scenes run at a higher fps.

-More Live-Talk dialog. About 2,000 lines total.

-Loading times decreased.

-More realistic shadows.

我再講多一次，美版就是加強版，只不過標題沒有director's cut這個字，而三月二十一日發售的日版director's cut，同美版是一模一樣，不同只是文字和語音。:035:

嘩，你玩得咁快呀，我現在只到ch. 4，不過我收到風有人玩到ch. 7真係會出問題，其實美版係d9 ，某高人將它轉做d5時可能出錯，我諗解決方法係等人重新發佈一個d5 fix版本或 一個 d9 版本。:025:
