OnyX allows you to verify the Startup Disk and the structure of itsSystem files, run miscellaneous tasks of system maintenance, configuresome hidden parameters of the Finder, Dock, Dashboard, Exposé, Safari,Login window and some of Apple's own applications, it deletes caches,removes a certain number of files and folders that may becomecumbersome and more.
It automatically checks updates, verifies the status of the startup diskand the structure of system files at launch, defines with precision theactions, and modifies the appearance of OnyX, increases the windowtransparency, chooses its own icon and toolbar icons among thoseavailable in the Preferences.
